In compliance to OIML International Standard and as per ESMA requirements, GOLD, DIAMOND, PERFUME AND CONSUMABLE PRODUCT balances that are being used in the market shall fully comply as explained below. Table below that is derived from UAE.S/GSO OIML R76-1:2009 standard describes the minimum requirement for the balance classification /accuracy.

To further assist you, we have a list of recommended commercial balances stating the manufacturer, model number, instrument name, distributor in UAE and its classification to serve as a guide for you. (Refer to Attachment - English and Arabic)
In case your electronic balance is out of tolerance as per the requirements of ESMA & OIML standard, your balance will be treated as UNFIT BALANCE and you are legally required to remove from service or otherwise you can be legally penalized for violating the laws & regulations.
