This week in UAE law: new regulations on corporate tax, labour law and medicine. Smoking restrictions and fire safety, construction, parking, transport and a full list of double taxation agreements have been added to the Real Law database.
1. Federal level
UAE Government Official Gazette No. 799 has been published. The Gazette contains new regulations covering areas such as corporate tax, civil litigation, labour and social law, administrative and health regulation, and telecommunications.
The decision Exempting Certain Persons from Corporate Tax is already in Real Law - Cabinet Decision No. 55 of 2025.
2. Dubai
The Official Gazette of the Government of Dubai - Issue No. 718 has been published, which includes Decree No. 24 of 2025 On the Establishment of the Dubai Media Council, as well as new decisions on the appointment and succession of officials in various government departments.
