Legislation changes

New requirements for social media influencers. The UAE National Media Council has introduced a new permit requirement for social media influencers  (Advertiser Permit) for all those who advertise on social networks. Foreign content makers temporarily working in the country will also need permission. The Real Law article provides an analysis of requirements, deadlines, and exceptions.

The Government of Dubai has released the Official Gazette No. 731, which contains appointments of officials in various government entities.
