- Ministerial Decision No. 455 of 2023 clarifies which companies with the number of employees of 20-49 fall under Emiratization. Companies carrying out activities in specified 14 economic sectors are required to employ at least one UAE citizen as early as 2024, and another in 2025.
- Federal Decree Law No. 29 of 2021 on the Entry and Residence of Foreigners covers the conditions for foreigners to enter the UAE, their obligations, visa types, residency permits and other aspects. In addition, it sets penalties for violation of its provisions, in particular: fines from AED 10,000 or imprisonment for a period of one month.
