- Ras Al Khaimah Law No. 7 of 2012 Concerning the Establishment of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah;
- Ras Al Khaimah Law No. 10 of 2021 Concerning the Powers of the Geographical Information Systems Centre;
- Ras Al Khaimah Emiri Decree No. 11 of 2008;
- Ras Al Khaimah Decision No. 14 of 2008;

In applying the provisions of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
Emirate: The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Council: The Executive Council of the Emirate.
Department: The Municipal Department.
