We, Saqr Bin Mohamed Bin Salim Al Qasimi Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate & Dependencies Thereof
- Whereas Ras Al Khaimah International Airport had been established in 1976;
- And after perusal of Ras Al Khaimah Decree No. 9 of 1997 and Ras Al Khaimah Decree No. 6 of 1999 related to setting up Ras Al Khaimah International Airport Board of Directors in 1976;
- And whereas no Emiri Decree had been promulgated on establishing Department of Civil Aviation;
- And in order to legalize Department of Civil Aviation;
- Based on what had been presented to us by Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler.
have decreed the following:
We legitimate all procedures taken to establish Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah in 1976 and approve acts made thereby and consider the same legal ones.
This Decree shall be considered in force since Department of Civil Aviation had been established in 1976.
