Ras Al Khaimah Decision No. 8 of 2017 On Fees of Immovable Properties

We, Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah 

- Having reviewed the Ras Al Khaimah Municipal Law of 1981;

- and acting in the public interest

have decided:
 

Article 1

The Municipality shall collect the specified fees on sales completed in the Land and Property Sector in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the table attached to this Decision.
 

Article 2

These fees shall be calculated in relation to the value of the immovable property, whether land is vacant or built-up.
 

Article 3

The value of immovable property shall mean the value recorded in the records of the Land and Property Sector, provided that if the Director of the Sector or his representative deems that the recorded value is not the real value of the immovable property at the time of registration. In that case he shall estimate a value for it and collect the fee in proportion to the estimated value.
 

Article 4

Any previous text or decision that conflicts with the provisions of this Decision shall be abrogated.
