On recent changes in UAE legislation

Ministerial Decision No. 265 of 2023 Regarding Qualifying Activities and Excluded Activities for the Purposes of Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses was considered ineffective until its publication in the Official Gazette of the UAE Government.

This Decision was published in the new Official Gazette Issue No. 787.  Consequently, the Decision came into force and is considered effective for periods from January 1, 2023.

In addition, other legislative acts were published in the new Official Gazette, among them:

- Cabinet Decision No. 122 of 2024 On the Executive Regulation of Federal Law No. 11 of 2023 on Procurement in the Federal Government;
- Cabinet Decision No. 123 of 2024 On Approving the List of Prohibited and Restricted Goods within the GCC countries.
