The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) has issued Decision No. 51 of 2025 amending some provisions of Decision No. 74 of 2022 regarding the conditions and requirements implementing Cabinet Decision No. 65 of 2022 on the Executive Regulations of Federal Decree-Law No. 29 of 2021 on the entry and residence of foreigners.
The Decision adds new articles to Decision No. 74 of 2022, setting up the conditions for new visa types:
- Event Visa - a foreigner visit visa for the purpose of attending a festival, exhibition, conference, seminar, economic, cultural, sports, religious, community, educational, or similar activities in the UAE. In this case, the sponsor/host shall be a private or public sector entity. This visa is for a temporary period of time (from 30 to 60 days to be determined later), provided that a letter is submitted from the host entity detailing the event and its duration.
- Entry Visa for Entertainment - a foreigner visit visa for the purpose of practicing commercial games. In this case, the sponsor/host shall be an establishment licensed to organize such games. The visa will be gr...
