New activities under Tajer Abu Dhabi licence

Abu Dhabi Business Centre at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has announced the addition of new economic activities to the Tajer Abu Dhabi licence. 

The Tajer Abu Dhabi economic license allows to conduct business without a need for a physical office or rent payment for commercial spaces until three years after the launch of the business.

The new activities included in this licence are:

• Maritime Consultancies Services,
• Tourism and Recreation Consultancy,
• Analysing of Accountancy and Auditing System,
• Logistics Consultancy,
• Statistical Services Consultancy,
• Network Consultancy,
• Agricultural Extension Services,
• Textiles and Wearing Apparel Silk-Screen Printing,
• Design and Artwork Services.

Since the launch of Tajer in 2017, the number of economic activities included in this licence has increased from 30 to 1,200. This amounts to 30% of all activities licensed and regulated by ADDED. In 2023, 5,989 new Tajer licences were issued, representing more than 20% of the total number of licences issued in the Emirate.
