Subject: Need new initiative to improve concrete quality in construction.
Madam,
With due respect, I want to mention that we had several meetings with consultants regarding the improvement of concrete during casting. There are several proposals we received from them.
As we know during the concrete cube test for 7 days and 28 days, sometimes abnormal values are coming.
We are working on it to resolve the problem, recently from our laboratory, we organized meetings with consultants for getting Their feedback in this regard. We received some valuable suggestions from them.
So, now we are planning to take an initiative upon your approval. Our proposals:
- From 1st November 2022 onward during the casting of concrete, engineers from the Consultant and Contractor need to be present at the site;
- They will sign and stamp the Delivery receipt and record data of Slum value on that paper also;
- Failing which FM will impose a heavy penalty;
- From our Municipality a team will monitor concrete activities randomly.
