- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers and its amendments,
- Cabinet Decision No. 120 of 2022 On the Rules and Regulations of Pricing Consumer Goods in the State,
has decided:
The same definitions contained in Cabinet Decision No. 120 of 2022 On the Rules and Regulations of Pricing Consumer Goods in the State shall apply to this Decision. Otherwise the following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them, unless context requires overwise:
Code of Conduct: A guiding code aimed at regulating the contractual relationship between the retailer and the supplier in the consumer goods sector.
1. A Grocery Supply Code of Conduct to regulate the contractual relationship between the retailer and the supplier is hereby issued and attached to this Decision.
2. Retailers and suppliers in the Consumer Goods Sector shall be guided in organising their contractual relationship by any of the rules stipulated in the Code of Conduct.
