Minister of Economy:
- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, as amended, and its Executive Regulations,
- Cabinet Decision No. 120 of 2022 on the Rules and Controls for Pricing Consumer Goods in the State,
has decided:
The same definitions contained in Cabinet Decision No. 120 of 2022 on the Rules and Controls for Pricing Consumer Goods in the State shall apply to this Decision, and otherwise the following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
Supreme Committee: The Supreme Committee for Consumer Protection.
Department: Consumer Protection and Commercial Control Department at the Ministry.
Team: Basic Consumer Goods Price Monitoring Team.
Front-end Profit Margin: The profit charged by the retailer to the consumer, calculated as the difference between the retail price and the supplier's price.
