Minister of Economy:
- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, as amended, and its Executive Regulations,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means,
- Cabinet Decision No. 120 of 2022 on the Rules and Controls for Pricing Consumer Goods in the State,
has decided:
The same definitions contained in Cabinet Decision No. 120 of 2022 on the Rules and Controls of Pricing Consumer Goods in the State shall apply to this Decision, and the following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them unless the context requires otherwise:
Unit Price: The price of an item based on a single unit of measurement by volume or weight.
Selling Price: The final price at which the item is sold by the retailer to the consumer.
Retail Store: A commercial entity, whether physical or digital, dedicated to selling goods and products directly to final consumers who purchase them for consumption or personal us...
