- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 On Commercial Companies;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 37 of 2022 Concerning Family Businesses
has decided:
State: the United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: Ministry of Economy.
Minister: Minister of Economy.
Competent Authority: The local authority competent in commercial companies' affairs in the Emirate concerned, including free zones.
Relevant Authorities: Federal or local government authorities.
Partner/Shareholder: Any owner of Shares or stocks in the Family Business.
Share: The partner's Share or the Shareholder's Shares in the Family Business.
Family Business: Any company established in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Law, the majority of whose Shares or stocks are owned by persons belonging to the same family and which is registered as a Family Business in accordance with the provisions of the Decree-Law Concerning Family Businesses.
