- After reviewing the Constitution,
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 57 of 2023 on Pensions and Social Security,
- Upon the approval of the Board of Directors of the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) at its meeting No. 3 of 2024,
has decided:
In the application of the provisions of this Decree, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Government: The Government of the United Arab Emirates.
The Cabinet: The Cabinet of the United Arab Emirates.
Minister: Minister of Finance.
Authority: General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA).
Chairman of the Council: Board of Directors of the Authority.
Director General: Director General of the Authority.
