The Registrar, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 292 of the Insolvency Regulations 2022, hereby makes the following Rules.
(1) These Rules may be cited as the Insolvency Regulations (Insolvency Practitioner) Rules 2025. (2) These Rules will come into force on the date of publication (the “Commencement Date”). (3) In these Rules, the “Insolvency Regulations” means the Insolvency Regulations 2022. (4) Defined terms used in these Rules and their meanings are contained in Schedule 1. (5) Unless the context otherwise requires: (a) references to sections are to sections of the Insolvency Regulations; (b) a reference to “Rules” is a reference to these Rules and a reference to a numbered Rule, Part or Schedule is to the relevant Rule, Part or Schedule of these Rules; (c) words in the singular include the plural and vice versa; and (d) references to any regulations of the Abu Dhabi Global Market shall be deemed to include all applicable subordinate legislation.
