Ministerial Decision No. 36 of 2026 Regarding the adoption of the framework for integrity and reputation in sport

Minister for Sport:

• Having regard to Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, as amended,
• and Federal Decree-Law No. (4) of 2023 on Sport, and its Executive regulations,
• And pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (22) of 2025 concerning the organisational structure of the Ministry of Sport,
• Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. (35) of 2025 concerning the organisational structure of the Ministry of Sport,
• In accordance with the requirements of the public interest.

We have decided as follows:

Article (1)

Adoption of the framework

The Framework for Integrity and Reputation in Sport – First Edition (2026), which is annexed to this Decision, is hereby adopted and forms an integral part thereof, complementing its provisions.

Article (2)

Commitment to implementation

The relevant sporting bodies shall comply with the principles and regulations set out in this framework, each within their respective remit, provided that this does not conflict with the legislation in force in the State.
