Ministerial Decision No. 31 of 2026 Regarding the adoption of a policy on reporting corruption in sport

Minister for Sport:

• Having regard to Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the remit of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, as amended,
• and Federal Decree-Law No. (4) of 2023 on Sport, and its Executive regulations,
• And pursuant to Cabinet Decision No. (22) of 2025 concerning the organisational structure of the Ministry of Sport,
• Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. (35) of 2025 concerning the organisational structure of the Ministry of Sport,
• In accordance with the requirements of the public interest.

We have decided as follows:

Article (1)

Adoption of the policy

The Policy on Reporting Corruption Offences in Sport – First Edition (2026), attached to this Decision, shall be adopted and shall form an integral part thereof and supplement its provisions.

Article (2)

Commitment to implementation

The relevant sporting bodies undertake to implement the provisions of this policy, each within their respective remits, provided that this does not conflict with the legislation in force in the State.
