The Cabinet:
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2020 on Specifications and Standards;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2022 on the Regulation of the Civil Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Related Activities;
- Cabinet Decision No. 35 of 2015 on the UAE System for the Supervision of Conformity Assessment Bodies;
- and based on the proposal of the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and with the approval of the Cabinet,
has decided:
For the purposes of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set out opposite each, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
Authority: General Civil Aviation Authority.
Government Bodies: Federal and local Government Bodies within whose remit lies the authority to enforce the provisions of this decision.
