The Minister of Economy and Tourism
- Having regard to Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 on commercial companies;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on trade via modern technological means;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2023 on the regulation of competition;
- Cabinet Decision No. 37 of 2014 issuing the Executive Regulations for Federal Law No. 4 of 2012 on the regulation of competition;
- Following consultation with the relevant authorities in the State, and in the public economic interest, with the aim of curbing certain practices that undermine existing competition, which have currently been observed in the market for the provision of food promotion and delivery services outside digital platforms;
