We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai
- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 6 of 2022 Concerning Juvenile Violators and those at Risk of Delinquency and its Executive Regulations;
- Dubai Law No. 8 of 2015 concerning the Community Development Authority in Dubai;
- Dubai Law No. 13 of 2016 concerning the Judicial Authority in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments,
have decided the following:
The following words and expressions, wherever they appear in this Decision, shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
Emirate: Emirate of Dubai.
Law: Federal Law No. 6 of 2022 concerning Juvenile Violators and Juveniles at Risk of Delinquency and its Executive Regulations.
Public Prosecution: The Public Prosecution in the Emirate.
Attorney General: The Attorney General of the Emirate.
Authority: The Community Development Authority in Dubai.
Violator: A person sentenced to a custodial sentence in accordance with the provisions of the Law.
