Building on Dubai Land Department's mandate to regulate professional practices in the real estate sector and protect investors from any conduct that may negatively affect the business and investment environment, it has recently been observed that some real estate brokers have been directly contacting investors by phone repeatedly. Such practices cause disturbance and fall outside the approved professional and regulatory standards.
In line with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency's commitment to protecting the privacy of property owners and real estate investors, all real estate brokerage offices are strictly prohibited from obtaining any data or information related to property owners or investors from any source through unlawful means. Direct contact with them via phone or other communication channels for the purpose of offering, marketing, or purchasing properties is also strictly prohibited.
