Ministerial Decision No. 481 of 2026 Regarding right of way on the road for vehicles providing essential services

The Minister of the Interior,

Having examined Federal Decree-Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the powers of Ministries and the powers of Ministers, and amendments thereto, Pursuant to Federal Decree-Law No. (14) of 2024 concerning the regulation of Traffic and roads, Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. (248) of 2020 concerning the approval of a service Emergency response for doctors,

Has decided:

Article 1

Priority traffic services for vehicles

Right of way on the road shall be given to vehicles providing the following essential services:

1. Emergency response service for doctors’ medical services.
2. Public road services provided by vehicles operated by the relevant government entities or with which it has a contract.
3. A vehicle recovery service whilst the vehicle is being transported to the scene of the accident or the location where it has broken down.
4. Traffic incident planning service.
