- Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 promulgating the Civil Transactions Law and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 on Commercial Companies;
- Federal Law No. 12 of 2023 regulating Partnerships between the Federal Public Sector and the Private Sector;
- Ras Al Khaimah Law No. 7 of 2012 regarding the establishment of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah;
- Ras Al Khaimah Emiri Decree No. 31 of 2003 regarding the establishment of the Investment and Development Office in the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, and its amendments.

For the purposes of this Law, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set out opposite them, unless the context requires otherwise:
Emirate: The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Government: The Government of Ras Al Khaimah.
Office: The Ras Al Khaimah Investment and Development Office.
Executive Council: The Executive Council of the Emirate.
