The Cabinet:
- Having regard to the Constitution,
- and Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2022 concerning the Federal Judiciary, and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 41 of 2024 On the Promulgation of the Personal Status Law;
- Cabinet Decision No. 71 of 2020 regarding the regulations governing marriage for those who have reached the age of legal maturity but have not yet reached the age of 18;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Justice and with the approval of the Cabinet,
has decided:
For the purposes of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set out opposite each, unless the context requires otherwise:
Decree-Law: Federal Decree-Law No. 41 of 2024 concerning the enactment of the Personal Status Law.
Court: the Personal Status Court of First Instance or the Personal Status Division, as the case may be.
