We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 48 of 2021 On Higher Education;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2024 On the Establishment and Organisation of the Education, Human Development, and Community Development Council;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
In applying the provisions of this Decree-Law, the following terms and words shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Minister: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Competent Local Authority: The local government authority concerned with Higher Education and scientific research, and technical and vocational education ...
