We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministers and the Powers of Ministries and its amendments;
- and Federal Decree-Law No. 18 of 2020 on Special Education, and its amendments;
- and Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2024 concerning the Establishment and Organisation of the Council for Education, Human Development and Society;
- Based on the proposal submitted by the Minister of Education and the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
For the purposes of this Decree-Law, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings set out opposite each, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: the United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: the Ministry of Education.
Minister: Minister of Education.
Council: The Education, Human Development and Community Development Council
Centre: The National Centre for Educational Quality, established within The Education, Human Development and Community Development Council.
