We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, as amended;
- and the Civil Procedure Law issued by Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2022;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Justice and with the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
The texts of Article 32, Article 164, Article 175 and Article 176 of the aforementioned Civil Procedure Law shall be replaced by the following texts:
1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 2 of Part 11 of Title 1 and Chapter 4 of Part 11 of Title 1 of this Law and the provisions of the Mediation and Conciliation Law, the President of the Federal Judicial Council or the President of the local judicial authority, as the case may be, may issue a decision to establish one or more departments to be formed by secondment or appointment in accordance with the legislation governing each authority.
