In accordance with:
- Dubai Law No. 4 of 2019 concerning the Real Estate Regulatory Authority,
- Dubai Law No. 6 of 2019 concerning Jointly Owned Properties in the Emirate of Dubai,
- Federal Law No. 37 of 1992 concerning trademarks, amended by Dubai Law No. 19 of 2000, and Dubai Law No. 8 of 2002
- Dubai Decree No. 6 of 2020 on the Regulation of Advertising in the Emirate of Dubai,
the Real Estate Regulatory Authority issues the following circular:
1. Real estate developers who wish to use their own trademarks must register them with the Ministry of Economy in accordance with the conditions specified in the aforementioned law.
2. Real estate developers wishing to use their own trademarks must ensure that the trademark requirement is mentioned in one of the following documents:
- The sale and purchase agreement.
- Or the building management statement document
- Or the basic complex system document
