We, Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah
- Having reviewed Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2022 promulgating the Civil Procedure Law
- Sharjah Law No. 2 of 1999 establishing the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and its internal regulations and amendments;
- Sharjah Law No. 6 of 2024 concerning the establishment and organisation of the Rental Disputes Centre in the Emirate of Sharjah
- Based on the approval of the Executive Council and in the public interest,
have issued the following Decision:
In applying the provisions of this Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
Emirate: The Emirate of Sharjah.
Municipality: The Municipality in whose jurisdiction the rented property is located.
Centre: The Rental Disputes Centre in the Emirate.
