We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Law No. 12 of 1976 on the Police and Security Force, as amended;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 30 of 2021 on Combating Narcotic Substances and Psychotropic Substances, and its amendments;
- Based on the proposal of the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Court, and with the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
In applying the provisions of this Decree-Law, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Emirate: Any of the Emirates of the State.
Authority: The National Anti-Narcotics Authority.
President: The President of the Authority.
Director General: Director General of the Authority.
