Subject: Exemption of establishments owned by the Federal Government from the provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2023 on the Regulation of Competition
With reference to your memorandum No. 32/2024 dated May 15, 2024 regarding the above subject.
Please be informed that the Cabinet, at its meeting held on June 10, 2024, approved the exemption of the entities listed below, which are owned by the Federal Government, from the provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2023 on the Regulation of Competition:
1. Etihad Rail.
2. Etihad Credit Bureau.
3. Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI).
4. Emirates Development Bank (EDB).
5. Emirates Transport Company (ET).
6. Emirates Post Group.
7. Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC).
8. Emarat - Emirates Petroleum Company P.J.S.C.
9. Namo Group.
10. Oumolat Security Printing LLC.
11. Beta Emirates Investments.
12. Etihad Payments.
