Fujairah Decision No. 3 of 2008 On the Collection of Fees for Applications for Approval of a License for Foreign Companies to Open Branches or Offices in the Emirate of Fujairah

We, Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah

- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 5 of 1975 on the Commercial Register;

- Federal Law No. 8 of 1984 on Commercial Companies and the amending laws thereof;

- Fujairah Local Licensing Law No. 1 of 1992

- Fujairah  Decision No. 1 of 1989 Appointing the Competent Authority in the Emirate of Fujairah to Apply the Commercial Companies Law, as amended by Fujairah Decision No. 1 of 1991;

- Based on what the public interest requires

have issued the following Decision:

Article 1

A fee of AED 50,000 (fifty thousand dirhams) shall be charged for the application for approval of a licence to open a branch or office of a foreign company in the Emirate of Fujairah in favour of the local authority competent to issue the licence approval, and a fee of AED 25,000 (twenty-five thousand dirhams) per year for each renewal of the licence of a branch or office of a foreign company in the Emirate of Fujairah shall be charged to the same authority.
