(1-2) Commercial Transactions "Commercial Papers: Check: One of the requirements of a check is that it does not have two dates.

 

1.  One of the components of a check. The withdrawal date must be the payment date. If the check carries two different dates, it changes from a payment instrument to a credit instrument, thus falling outside the scope of criminal protection.

 

2. The appealed judgment acquitted the appellant, as it was proven that the instrument supporting the lawsuit bore two different dates and that it had become a trust instrument. The appeal is erroneous. Inadmissible.
