1. The Public Prosecutor may appeal by way of cassation in favour of the law against final judgments if they are based on a violation of the law or an error in its application or interpretation. Article 256 of the Criminal Procedure Law. The violation of the contested judgment of the law and its becoming final upon the expiry of the appeal period, its effect is that the Public Prosecutor may appeal it.
