(1-2) Criminal proceedings "Appeal against cassation judgments: appeal procedures"

 

(1) The appeal must be signed by at least one public prosecutor or a lawyer admitted to the court. This is an essential procedural requirement relating to public order, and failure to comply with it renders the appeal null and void and inadmissible. Article 245 and Article 249 of the Criminal Procedure Law.

 

(2) If the statement of grounds for appeal is not signed by a lawyer admitted to the court and the lawyer's registration card is expired, the appeal shall be dismissed as inadmissible on procedural grounds and the security deposit shall be forfeited.
