Federal Law No. 3 of 2010

 

We, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan,President of the United Arab Emirates,
- After reviewing the provisional Сonstitution,
- Based on the approval of the federal council of ministers and the federal national council and the ratification of the federation supreme council, 
Enacted the following law:

 

Article 1

The emblem of the State is represented by a falcon in the center of which is a circle with the drawing of the UAE flag, surrounded by 7 stars. The claws of the falcon hold a rectangular base board bearing the name of the United Arab Emirates in Arabic, as per the enclosed specimen.

Article 2

The National Emblem shall be used in official records and documents.

 

Article 3

The emblem of the State may be used neither for commercial, industrial nor for personal purposes without a special permission granted by the President of the State. The Implementing Regulation shall determine the manner of obtainment of such permit.
