We Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates,
- Pursuant to the perusal of the Provisional Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the competencies of the ministries and the powers of the ministers and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 2 of 1974 regulating the import of seedlings and seeds and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 4 of 1979 on the suppression of fraud and deceit in commercial transactions;
- Federal Law No. 5 of 1979 concerning agricultural quarantine and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 3 of 1987 promulgating the Penal Code; and
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, its approval by the Cabinet and the and its ratification by the Federal Supreme Council,
have issued the following Law:
