We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates;
- Upon reviewing the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 concerning the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Law No. 7 of 1999 Promulgating Pensions and Social Security Law, as amended;
- And based on the presentation of the Minister of Finance, and the approval of the Cabinet;
Have promulgated the following Decree-Law:
In application of the provisions of this Decree-Law, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to each of them, unless the context otherwise requires:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Government: Government of the UAE.
GPSSA: General Pension and Social Security Authority.
Minister: Minister of Finance.
BOD: GPSSA's Board Of Directors.
BOD Chairman: The Chairman of the GPSSA's Board Of Directors.
