- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Powers of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 9 of 2022 on Domestic Workers, and its amendments;
- Based on the presentation of the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the approval of the Cabinet.
we have issued the following Decree-Law:
The text of Article 23 of Federal Decree-Law No. 9 of 2022 on Domestic Workers shall be replaced with the following text:
1. If a dispute arises between the employer and the employee and they fail to settle it amicably, they shall refer it to the Ministry, and the Ministry may take the following measures:
a. The Ministry shall take whatever measures it deems appropriate to settle the dispute amicably, in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Executive Regulations of this Decree-Law and the decisions issued by the Ministry.
