We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
- Having reviewed the Constitution,
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, as amended,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 37 of 2023 Establishing the Ministry of Investment and amending the Powers of Certain Ministries,
- Having considered the proposal of the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and with the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
A new ministry shall be established, to be called the "Ministry of Foreign Trade", which shall have the following powers:
1. Proposing and preparing policies, strategies and legislation related to the State's foreign trade, including promoting foreign trade in goods and services, developing exports, diversifying trading partners, negotiating trade agreements and following up on their implementation after their approval by the Cabinet in accordance with the legislation in force.
