We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
- Having reviewed the Constitution,
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 4 of 2000 Concerning the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority and Market, and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 8 of 2004 on Financial Free Zones,
- Federal Law No. 10 of 2018 on Regarding Netting,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2018 Concerning the Central Bank and the Regulation of Financial Institutions and Activities and its amendments,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 51 of 2023 Promulgating the Financial and Bankruptcy Law,
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance and the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
In the application of the provisions of this Decree-Law, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them unless the context requires otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Central Bank: Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates.
