This Decree-Law amended Federal Law No. 9 of 2011.
We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
Having reviewed the Constitution and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Powers of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 9 of 2011 on Land Transport and its amendments;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and the approval of the Cabinet,
have issued the following Decree-Law:
Article 3, Article 24, Article 25, Article 26, Article 30 and Article 38 of Federal Law No. 9 of 2011 shall be replaced by the following texts:
For the issuance of the license stipulated in Article 2 of this Law, the following conditions and controls shall be met:
1. The applicant must be the owner or lessee of the means of land transport.
2.The means of land transport must be suitable for the type of activity that the applicant wishes to practice.
