We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates:
- Having reviewed the Constitution,
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 3 of 2016 on the Child Rights Law (Wadeema) and its amendments,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 10 of 2019 on Protection from Domestic Violence and its amendments,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021 promulgating Penal Code (Law of Crimes and Penalties) and its amendments,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2022 promulgating the Criminal Procedure Law and amendments,
- Based on the presentation of the Minister of Community Development and the approval of the Council of Ministers
have issued the following Decree-Law:
In the application of the provisions of this Decree-Law, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to them unless the context otherwise requires:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: Ministry of Community Development.
