This Practice Direction is to be read with, and subject to, the ADGM Court Procedure Rules 2016 (“CPR”). Except as provided otherwise in this Practice Direction, terms have the meanings set out in the CPR and a reference to a Rule is a reference to the CPR.

This Practice Direction does not relate to any applications made in respect of insolvency proceedings. Any such applications are to be made in accordance with Practice Direction 14. Applications made in:

• the Commercial and Civil Division are dealt with in Practice Direction 2;
• the Small Claims Division are dealt with in Practice Direction 3;
• the Employment Division are dealt with in Practice Direction 4;
• the Real Property Division (other than in relation to a Short-Term Residential lease claim) are dealt with in Practice Direction 15; and
• relation to a Short-Term Residential Lease claim are dealt...
