Dubai SME (Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development), a division of the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED), has been supporting SMEs in the Emirate since 2002.
According to recently published results, Dubai SME has helped its members to conclude contracts worth AED 395 million ($108 million) in the first half of 2024 in both public and private sectors. Dubai SME has also provided recommendations and trained 2,714 entrepreneurs, which is 164.3% more than in the same period last year.
Dubai SME offers services at all stages of enterprise setup, from planning to unleashing potential:
- Provides business set-up guidance, which includes advice and mentorship for entrepreneurs. Mentorship is available for the first 5 years after obtaining a license.
- Organises educational programs held by the Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy (a division of Dubai SME).
- Arranges Dubai SME membership to unlock business support and benefits - for example, participation in local and international exhibitions and fairs.
