We, Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Municipality,
After perusal of:
- The powers legally vested in Us pursuant to the Order Establishing the Dubai Municipality;
- Dubai Local Order No. 11 of 2003 Concerning Public Health and Community Safety in the Emirate of Dubai (the “Original Local Order”), and
- The presentation of the Director General of the Dubai Municipality,
Do hereby issue this Order.
Paragraph (4) of Article 86 of the Original Local Order is hereby amended to read as follows:
4. impounding the vehicles that are in violation of the rules on the environment and public hygiene stipulated herein; and selling these vehicles at public auction in accordance with the relevant procedures adopted by the DM.
The following local orders are hereby excluded from the list of repealed local orders attached to the Original Local Order; and will continue in force to the extent that they do not contradict its provisions.
