We, Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Municipality,
After perusal of:
- The powers legally vested in Us pursuant to the Order Establishing the Dubai Municipality;
- Dubai Local Order No. 89 of 1994 Regulating the Engineering Consultancy Profession in the Emirate of Dubai; and
- The presentation of the Director General of the Dubai Municipality, and
For the purpose of achieving the public interest,
Do hereby issue this Order.
For the purposes of this Order, the “Original Local Order” means Dubai Local Order No. 89 of 1994 Regulating the Engineering Consultancy Profession in the Emirate of Dubai, issued on 19 February 1994.
The first paragraph of Article 13 of the Original Local Order is hereby superseded by the following:
The Licence will be issued to an applicant in his personal capacity, and may only be assigned to others subject to the requirements and conditions stipulated in this Order.
