We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, After perusal of:
- Federal Law No. 8 of 2004 Concerning Financial Free Zones and its Executive regulation;
- Dubai Law No. 9 of 2004 Concerning the Dubai International Financial Centre and its amendments;
- Dubai Law No. 12 of 2004 Concerning the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts, as amended;
- Dubai Law No. 1 of 2016 Concerning the Financial Regulations of the Government of Dubai and its Implementing Bylaw;
- Dubai Law No. 8 of 2016 Regulating the Grant of Law Enforcement Capacity in the Government of Dubai and its Implementing Bylaw;
- Dubai Law No. 4 of 2018 Establishing the Financial Audit Authority; and
- The legislation issued by His Highness the Ruler of Dubai concerning regulation of activities, business and conditions in the Dubai International Financial Centre,
Do hereby issue this Law.
This Law shall be cited as “Law No. 5 of 2021 Concerning the Dubai International Financial Centre”.
